Your body is your house, the most valuable real estate on the planet. This book and companion deck features 54 cards with breathing techniques to make your house a home, a sanctuary. These practices are simple, practical and efficient, furnishing a technology of safety for your nervous system. Organized space and time are the brick and mortar of building a practice, and breath is the portal to presence.

This deck of cards (and accompanying descriptive 150-page book) offers 54 simple and direct playing cards to harness the power of breath to cultivate vitality and regulate the nervous system.

Drawing on Dages’ 22 years of teaching and scholarship in somatic praxis and yoga, these syncretic playing cards distill ancient practices into concrete and specific plays that can be done by almost anyone. Traditionally, breath work has been accessed almost exclusively in privatized, exclusive, and often expensive spaces: yoga studios, meditation retreats, and spa facilities. The bar to entry has simply been too high.

This deck offers short and effective exercises ranging from one breath to one hundred so that you play anytime, anyplace.  



Based on a traditional pack of playing cards (four suits of 13 cards each, two jokers), each unique card maps an imaginative circuitry:
